About

About The Band

We deliver an explosive mix of party classics and chart toppers. Our medleys and mash-ups are what we’re known for, along with our proven track record of packing out dance floors and creating unforgettable nights.

All of the players we use are full time musicians, guaranteeing unrivalled quality. Our sets our 100% live. That’s right, no backing tracks whatsoever. We use the latest advances in technology to replicate songs in a way that very few bands are capable of. So, if you hear a flute come out of nowhere don’t be alarmed – that’s probably just Joe and his crazy future guitar…

We’ve played at almost every kind of event imaginable, from steamboat cruises on the Thames, to playing to in excess of 15,000 people at Twickenham stadium – and everything in between. This makes us extremely well equipped to handle any kind of event, and cater to people from all ages and walks of life.

Harlequin was established in 2010, and has been growing in demand and popularity ever since. We have played at countless weddings, parties and events, and are one of the most experienced function bands in the country. Our live shows are tried and tested, including end-to-end sets of the nations most loved songs and party classics, giving you and your audience a night that you’ll never forget.

We understand that it’s not just all about that one night, however. We are to here to help you every step of the way, from making an initial enquiry to long after you wedding or event has been and gone. We have long standing relationships with many of our previously clients, because we genuinely care about what we do.

Want to see us in action? We play a host of venues across Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire. If you’re thinking of booking us, we would love you to come and meet the band before you decide. Please follow us on Facebook for regular updates on our live shows.

Meet the band

Martin

Martin first started playing drums at the age of 4. Since then, he has gone on to play for a variety of successful ensembles and bands, all over the world, including countries such as China, Kenya and Canada. He moved to Bristol at the age of 17 to study at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music, and then went on to obtain a degree in session musicianship from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. When he is not playing, talking about or listening to drums, Martin enjoys nothing more than watching his favorite film, Dirty Dancing. On repeat.

Joe (Fish)

Joe has fronted many bands in his career and has hundreds of gigs under his 36inch belt! Probably one of only a handful of frontmen to fully embrace modern technology, it's not uncommon to hear his guitar sound like brass, piano, synth and even drums! (No that's not a backing track. It's live!)....his vocals aren't bad either. Now, if we can only stop him from dancing in the audience.....

Mitch

Mitch is a very experienced bass player and has performed with many different bands at venues all over the country, from Devon to the islands of Scotland. He has also toured in Europe. Mitch has occasionally been spotted tenderly whispering to his bass before gigs, although he would deny that 100%.
